Anne Azéma’s final concert of her maiden, 2008-2009 season, took place last March. “A Distant Haven” turned out to be the subject of an over-the-top review in our local paper of record (“Flawless…inexhaustible…exuberant…radiant” waxed the critic), as well as a beautiful and touching event in and of itself.
